My Nigerian dream

Rays of hope 
Emblem of peace
Void of animosity 
Life getting normal again
Life that is very kind to its inhabitants
 
Education becoming worthwhile 
Quality and accessible healthcare system 
Terrorism getting abated
There is enough of love to share among all

The Nigeria where living isn't difficult 
And there's no sign of pain
Where there are no walls or distances 
Segregating the assembly of the noble and the common.
 
Where elections become free and fair
And people cast their votes with not one iota of fear. 
Results not being manipulated
This is the Nigeria of my dream.
 
The Nigeria where people can happily dream 
And their dreams getting fulfilled.  
The Nigeria where there is justice
Governments finally becoming the government for the people
 
Where students who kept repeating their admission exams
Because of the limited enrolment capacity of the public universities
Becomes history
The Nigeria with leaders not looters. 
Also wise in technology. 
Then there would be joy for all.
