Let me be good

Let me be good,
In all the things I'll face.
Let me be good,
When all things seem to fade away.
I can not always be like this,
Giving up so fast.
I must get the courage to always start afresh. 

But how will I do that?
When my past is always drawing me back.
It's more like my fate is the architect of my life.
I can't even get a hold of what befalls me
I can only stay quiet and take whatever life gives me.

Life has taken so much away from me
And I don't even have the guts to object!
Still I will not give up
And I will not be so foolish to think of ending my life.
Because I'm not a coward!
